My Productivity Failures

The Videos

Brought to you by . . .

I've struggled with productivity my entire life. There may have been random days when I enjoyed my work and was fully engaged. I was "in the flow" as they say.

But those days were rare. A typical day found me struggling and forcing myself to do work that I hated or found of little value - other than the paycheck it provided.

Better Days Lie Ahead

"The Clarity Journal helped me organize and prioritize my day for maximum productivity."

This isn't a rigid 7-Step or one-size-fits all system. It's a process that teaches you to become self-aware of your self-defeating patterns and take ownership of your day.

As you grow - the process grows with you.

w DoesHow the Journal Works

Each Journal has 3 major components.

The Daily Start:  This is where you identify your top priorities for the day and any mental obstacles you may be facing - and how you'll conquer them.

Habits Pages: This is where you learn to manage your daily habits that will become your secret superpower.

Affirmations Pages: This is where you can re-tool your self-image and confidence.

4 Productivity Killers

Too Much Procrastination: Are you delaying or ignoring the work you know you need to complete?

Too Little Motivation: Are you just going through the motions of work because you don't care anymore?

Not Enough Willpower: Why is it so hard to generate the self-discipline to simply do the work we avoid?

Inability to Focus: Is your work suffering because you can't focus on one thing at a time?

Research

Over the years I've read a ton of self-help books about productivity, effectiveness, personal empowerment and such.

I've used myself as the test subject to figure out what works and what doesn't. And, I've created my own solutions as well.

I started sharing my experiences and knowledge on Quora by answering questions. I learned my struggles with productivity weren't unique. People were desperately looking for answers.

Within a few months, I had provided over 700 answers and received over 193,000 views on these answers.

The numbers could have been a lot higher if I had spent more time answering questions. While spending time every day in Quora may be satisfying, it doesn't pay the bills.

Development

I wanted a more effective way to reach a larger number of people. So, I developed a journal that incorporates the methods I've learned over the past 30 years. These are the same methods and use every day.

Simply providing a journal isn't enough. There's too much left to the imagination. Every journal comes with a guide and a series of training videos.
